County and charitable arts, nonprofit, and other civic organizations can apply to use the Main Theater, the Vault Theater, or the Classroom spaces for arts-related programming.

On behalf of Fairfax County, ArtsFairfax manages the online application process for community arts use of Capital One Hall. Capital One Hall invites its local community to use their spaces for performance, rehearsal, and other arts activities.

Virginia Chamber Orchestra

Multiple Dates | The VCO is unique among Northern Virginia-based orchestras in having engaged only fully professional players since it was founded, paying every player full union scale and benefits for each rehearsal and concert.  Outreach initiatives include television broadcasts and streaming videos on the Internet, serving all area schools and very large numbers of schools nationwide. Set against the golden age of the Tang Empire, this dance drama follows Gu Xiao, a young aristocratic woman with an affinity for scholarly pursuits rather than traditional household affairs. Chafing under the weight of expectations, she embarks on a cross-country journey to discover her life’s passion. Greater Washington Chinese Dance (gwcd.org) was established in 2022 as the non-profit affiliate of Xuejuan Dance Ensemble (XDE, xjdance.org). Great Falls Philharmonic pres. Ode to Joy: Beethoven Symphony No. 9 and Chichester Psalms

April 10, 2026 | Join the Great Falls Philharmonic for a powerful evening of choral and orchestral music that reaches into the depths of the human spirit and rises in a celebration of hope and unity. On the first half, conductor Derek Maseloff leads the orchestra and the Voce Chamber Singers in Leonard Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms, a strikingly original work that blends sacred Hebrew texts with recognizable American musical influences. The second half features Beethoven’s towering Symphony No. 9, performed by the Great Falls Philharmonic Orchestra and Festival Chorus. With its unforgettable “Ode to Joy,” this symphony remains one of the most stirring statements of unity and hope ever composed. Derek Maseloff is the Artistic Director and Conductor of the Great Falls Philharmonic. David Mann is the Artistic Director of Voce Chamber Singers.
