Join us to experience Capital Wind Symphony's presentation of Inspirations - highlighting the works of Henry Dorn, Oscar Navarro, Percy Grainger, Frank Ticheli , Julie Giroux , and Carlos Simon.
"Composers, much like other artists, feel a strong urge to create. Some composers find inspiration in nature, while others write in response to historical events, places, and experiences with different cultures. “Inspirations,” allows our listeners to explore the world through the unique compositional voices of Carlos Simon, Oscar Navarro, Percy Grainger, Julie Giroux, Darius Milhaud, and Henry Dorn."
